"Meh, but the salad was good."

Since our trip began we have partaken in our usual travel habit of eating out for every meal. So today at lunch it occurred to us that we have all been getting side salads with our entrees. The post eating question of "How was your meal?", has usually been answered with "Meh, but the salad was good." That pretty much sums up our feelings on the quality of cuisine so far, "But the salad was good."
