That was really cool! I'm assuming you've got a pretty high-end digital video camera and some video editing software to do that? I was impressed with how steadily you held the camera for a half hour.
My camera is a high end consumer mini DV Sony camcorder and I used Final Cut Pro for the editing. We were lucky to get the front row on the ferry for that trip. To get the shot I used a Gorilla Pod (http://www.joby.com/products/gorillapod/) wrapped around the steering wheel. It was fun to edit, as a had to increase the speed of the clip three thousand percent to achieve the one minute duration.

Very Cool! Wouldn't it be nice if we could "fast forward" through life's crappy moments? Or better yet... just "skip" to the next scene.
